The English education major primarily focuses on continuing education or professional development for current Engilsh teachers and also provides a teaching course for students who wish to obtain an English teaching certification.
The English education major operates on a basic 5-semester system and requires the completion of 27 credits in the major as a requirement. Upon passing foreign language exams and comprehensive exams, one can obtain a teaching certification.
